The Causes

PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL SUPPORT TWO INCREDIBLE LOCAL CHARITIES IN OUR COMMUNITY, EPILEPSY OTTAWA AND OTTAWA FIRST RESPONDERS FOUNDATION

Every pull at the Ottawa Fire Truck Pull represents more than strength—it represents our community coming together to support two organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of people across Ottawa.

Epilepsy Ottawa

Today, someone in our community found out they have epilepsy and their life just turned upside down. They’ve lost their driver’s licenses. They don’t know what this means for their job, their relationships, their hobbies, and all the things that bring them joy.

Recipient charity Epilepsy Ottawa is the only agency in Ottawa and the surrounding rural communities whose mandate is to improve the quality of life for the 10,000 people in the region living with epilepsy and their loved ones through support services, education, advocacy, and ongoing public awareness.

Epilepsy Ottawa is dedicated to creating a community where people affected by epilepsy are empowered and supported to live life to the fullest, free of stigma and barriers.

Ottawa First Responders Foundation

Every day, Ottawa's first responders answer our community's call in moments of crisis. Behind every emergency response are dedicated professionals who face significant physical and mental challenges in service to others.

The Ottawa First Responders Foundation provides essential mental health and wellness support to firefighters, paramedics, police officers, veterans, retirees, civilian members, and their families. Through counselling assistance, peer support initiatives, education, prevention programs, and resilience-building resources, the Foundation ensures those who protect our community receive the support they deserve.

Pulling Together for Our Community

The Ottawa Fire Truck Pull is about more than moving a 10+ tonne fire truck—it's about moving our community forward.

Every registration, every donation, every pledge, and every cheer from the sidelines helps provide vital programs and services for people living with epilepsy while supporting the mental health and well-being of Ottawa's first responders and their families.

Together, we're building a stronger, healthier, and more resilient community—one pull at a time.
