TWO TRUCKS. ONE EPIC SHOWDOWN! — OTTAWA FIRE TRUCK PULL 2025 ADDS THRILLING HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPETITION

OTTAWA, THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 9, 2025 – The Ottawa Fire Truck Pull roars back on Saturday, September 27, 2025, and this year brings an electrifying new format: two Ottawa Fire Services trucks will be pulled in a thrilling high-stakes head-to-head showdown to crown the fastest and fiercest team.

For the first time in event history, every matchup will feature two trucks pulled side-by-side, adding a pulse-pounding dimension of speed and strategy to the competition. Two trucks, two teams, one finish line. This new format promises non-stop action as strength, teamwork, and determination collide in a dramatic race to the finish. “This new head-to-head format will bring a whole new level of energy to the competition,” said Antony Cooper, Director of Operations and Marketing. “Instead of competing only against the clock, teams will be going head-to-head from the very start — the atmosphere at Lansdowne is going to be electric.”

Signature Challenges

This year, all categories will feature the new head-to-head format, doubling the excitement for participants and spectators alike. Teams of ten will test their might against each other and across a variety of spirited categories, including:
